Lions Fair – Knutsford 2019

With another May Bank Holiday comes another community event on Knutsford Heath

The second bank holiday in May brought local community members together for the annual Lions Street Fair, a free event held on Knutsford large Heath with the permission of the Tatton Estate.  Tatton Group  donated plants, grown at a local nursery, to be offered as a raffle prize to raise funds for the clubs’ ongoing work within the community.  There were attractions for all ages including welly wanging, live music, food and drink stalls and fairground rides.  Knutsford Fire Station also attended, giving their new on call recruits the opportunity to engage with members of the locality, showing the public around the rainbow fire engine and taking part in demonstrations.
