Knutsford, a design code for future development

HRBJohnSimpson.JohnSimpson-150x150What is a design code?  Why is it important?

Local people who did not get the opportunity to visit the recent community drop-in session at the Town Hall are being urged to visit the Heritage Centre before 17th July so they can find out more and have their say on the best way to protect the heritage of Knutsford.

This comes after 200 people visited the recent community drop-in session and heard the speech by internationally acclaimed architect John Simpson, on how quality design can protect and enhance the town over the coming decades.

The drop-in session gave the local community the opportunity to share their thoughts on how the town could grow sustainably.

The Tatton Estate would like to thank all who got involved with the drop-in session and attended John Simpson’s talk, and now urges the community to get involved with the neighbourhood plan process and talk to their local representatives. Resident views can help shape the future of the town for generations to come.

The boards on display at the Knutsford Heritage Centre can be viewed by clicking below. Your views are important and if you would like to complete and return one of the feedback forms, click below, we’d be really pleased to add your thoughts to the many already received.
