George Osborne Showcases Northern Powerhouse at Peover Hall

George Osborne and senior representatives from the US House of Representatives attended a working lunch earlier in the month and discussed the positive effects the Northern Powerhouse may have on the region’s economy.  Peover Hall had already forged links with the US government as it was used as the HQ for General George Patton as he was planning the D-Day landings of 1944 and those who attended enjoyed hearing of the historical relationship.
